On the evening of February 22nd 2015, Hobbiton Movie Set hosted a World Cruise Event celebrating Crystal Cruises 25th Anniversary. Our creative team were honored to manage this event in conjunction with Hobbiton. With over 130 staff and crew dressed in full costume, a myriad of interactive market place stalls and entertainment to boot, nothing could over shadow the spectacular water screens that appeared in the middle of the lake and carried messages from famous friends such as John Key, Peter Jackson and Julie Andrews. This event created unforgettable memories for the cruise guests, who have experienced some of the finest events throughout the world.
Rotorua Girls High School Arena was TRANSFORMED into a Tropical Island Paradise and a spectacular lighting show to match. The tables were dressed in white with an island style fabric overlay on each table and the centrepieces consisted of a bamboo vase featuring a tropical flower selection accompanied by tea light candles.
Welcome to Survivor Island, three days filled with fun, laughter and the threat of elimination made this one of our favourite conferences. Our amazing team who lugged hundreds of plants around the Novotel Hotel, Rotorua and hung one million and one fairy lights.
As guests entered Classic Flyers Tauranga walking down a darkened passage, arriving into a bustling airport hangar filled with aeroplanes that James Bond may possibly have flown himself. On the stage, the gun barrel entrance covered with a white screen stood ready for the MC to make a surprise entrance. The tables were dressed with black linen and matched with a combination of black and gold chair covers. A 70cm tall “shaken not stirred” martini glass stood as the centrepiece complete with a large olive on a stick.
Combined with a love for country music creating an unforgettable experience for our client, guests arrived to the Baypark Arena dressed in their finest country music outfits, crossing into a true Country Rock setting. The 9.6m-wide stage featuring “Grandma’s Back Porch” with a 20m long backdrop were as if guests looked over the ranch property, including a drive way, mountains in the background and even a large windmill.
